Round Four - Dark - u3 CP's Comet: 8 Atrocities
Round Five - Slug - u3 Sluglords: Anarchy
Round Six - Light - InCarn8
All games will have 30 seconds Plan Time and will be played on Normal Difficulty unless otherwise stated. A neutral Host/Admin (HA) with either DSL or Cable will host all games. The Host/Admin will determine if a new host is necessary due to lag problems.
There are five categories that will produce up to a total of thirteen winners. It is possible to win in all five categories.
1. The three players with the most points for “Combined” (All Dark, Slug and Light scores added together.) The top scorer here is considered the overall tournament winner.
2. The three players with the most points for Dark.
3. The three players with the most points for Slug.
4. The three players with the most points for Light.
5. The player with the most Combined points in the clan that has the most cumulative points for Combined.
See the Prize page for details on what the winners will receive.
LAG-OUTS
1. Provided they lag-out during "Restart Time", each player is allowed a single restart per week. Restart Time is prior to three minutes into game time and any player losing a unit to an enemy. If these conditions are met, the Host/Admin will restart the game and all players should rejoin the game as quickly as possible.
2. If a player lags-out more than once or after Restart Time, only if all players agree will the game be restarted. When someone lags-out, the Host/Admin will ask if there are any objections to restarting and the game will be restarted if there are no objections within one minute. A lagged-out player has 10 minutes to return before the game is replayed with out him or her.
3. When a game is not restarted for a lagged-out player, that player drops to last place and receives the appropriate points. The first person to lag-out places eighth, the second to lag-out places seventh, etc.. The exception is in Koth games where the lagged-out player's time still determines their placement.
4. If the Host/Admin's "teammate" lags-out, the HA may control the units as a non-scoring substitute player (see No-Shows). The lagged out player still drops to last place. 8th place points being the minimum score a lagged-out player receives.
NO-SHOWS
Four contingencies are set up to deal with No-Shows. They are executed in the following order:
1. The Host/Admin can act as a non-scoring substitute player. A non-scoring substitute player can place (ie. 1st, 2nd, 3rd,etc..) but doesn't receive the points for that placement. The bonus points for best damage or kills are not awarded if a Sub scores highest in either.
2. A RotFL Staff member can act as a non-scoring substitute player.
3. Random available contestants may be asked to be semi-scoring substitutes. They are awarded 1 bonus point for completing a game or 5 points for winning.
4. The game is played with as many people as are available. The Scoring system is adjusted for the total number of players.
OOS
Many Out of Sync errors are not anticipated as none of the maps used are prone to going OOS. However, in the event a player goes OOS prior to "Restart Time" ending, they are allowed to use their weekly free restart. Otherwise, only the Host/Admin's film will be used to determine scores.

The Base Score may be modified by the following formula:
N = number of players in game.
Final Base Score = (Base Score / 8 )(.75N + 2 ) + [(2N) if player scores most damage] + [(N) if player scores most kills]. All Fractions are rounded down.
No-Shows are deducted from N if there is no substitute player to replace them.
Lag-outs are deducted from N if they occur prior to "5 minutes remaining", and the lagged-out player had greater than 50% of his units left at the point of lagging-out.
Below is a table of how the number of players (N) effects scoring.

1. Carpet Bombing is encouraged.
2. Deliberate CKing is cause for disqualification.
3. Both Double Teaming and Suiciding are strongly discouraged, however, in an 8-start FFA, a degree of strategic Double Teaming is inevitable and natural. If after reviewing films, the judges find instances of Double Teaming or Suiciding that appear deliberate, premeditated and repetitive, the offenders will be penalized or possibly even disqualified.
